                Miscellaneous Rumblings
                                           ~
I've run across some interesting things in my travels along with those I've found just sitting at home in front of the fire sippin' on a nice cup of hot herbal tea as I listen to the cool sounds of Dave Brubeck softly playing in the background. I would like to share them with you for your enjoyment and edification. Some are in a serious vein, some are frivolous, and some are a downright waste of time. I'll leave it up to you to decide which is which. Just click away and have fun.

You must look at the following web site. It has a revolutionary new product that will set the RV travel industry on it’s butt, literally, and eliminate the need for dump stations worldwide. I wish I had found these before our last trip; of course I’m not going to pay more than $3.25 for them. Maybe I can find a used one somewhere.

Great for tailgate parties at football games.

Ideal for hunters. Click here for video.

Observation number one.

While driving around town the other day my wife said, "Look at all these cars. Look at their colors, they're all drab and ugly."

Picture
```I looked, and sure enough they were. Black, gray, beige, red, white, and really ugly shades of blue. There were a lot of silver cars, which doesn't look a bit like silver to me. They are light gray with metallic overtones. Then there are the gold cars, which is a sort of beige-tan, and more metallic overtones. All in all, they were ultra drab and gloriously ugly. Once in a while there was a pleasant blue, or green, or yellow, or a vibrant red. We even saw a new pink Cadillac, maybe it didn't count since it sported a chrome Mary Kay name on the  back.
Then The Informed One told me that she had seen a study that said that during economic downturns, such as a recession, people buy dark and drab cars to suit their outlook on the times.
I thought for once some study, probably funded by the government, got it right. Maybe we should all go out and buy new brightly colored cars and reverse this period most of us are going through. I'd opt for the chartreuse that was popular on 1950 Fords.......  BUT, from what I've observed now, only Beetles and Minis have lively colors.
